Our Story

We didn't start Wellspring Financial because we had it all figured out.
We started it because we didn't.

For much of our lives, we built businesses, created income, and experienced many of the outward signs of financial success. But behind the scenes, good income rarely translated into good financial habits. Despite earning well, we were never able to 'get ahead' financially and lost control of many aspects of our lives because of it.

Eventually, life brought us to a crossroads. As we entered our 30s, we made the decision to radically reset the way we approached our lives and our finances.

That decision changed everything for us, for our family, and for our community. â€‹

Through our own mistakes and failures, wise mentorship from others, ravenous continued education, and a willingness to do things differently, we began to understand something important:

Financial success isn't simply about how much you make.

It's about what you know, what you do, and the habits you build along the way.

That realization became the

foundation on which we launched

Wellspring Financial.

We believe there are millions of people who want to make better financial decisions but don't know where to begin. Some don't meet the traditional thresholds for financial advisory services. Others simply don't know how to navigate that world—or aren't looking for someone to manage their money for them.

They need something different.

They need someone who has been where they are to

walk alongside them.

That's who we created Wellspring for.

We call ourselves "the other 70%"—people who may not fit neatly into the traditional financial advisory model but still deserve access to quality financial education, practical tools, personalized coaching, and someone in their corner.

Our purpose is simple: to empower people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take control of their financial lives.

We don't believe you have to have everything figured out before you begin. You don't need a perfect financial history. And you don't need to know all the right questions to ask.

You just need to be ready to take the next step.

Wherever you are, we're here to help you build from there.

Our Team

Zack Turner, small business financial coach idaho and wealth coach Idaho
Zack
Lead coach & co-founder

Zack is the Lead Coach and Co-Founder of Wellspring Financial. His own financial journey, alongside Ali, shaped his belief that financial success is about more than just "providing and protecting"—it’s about having the knowledge, discipline, and confidence to make good decisions and build a life you’re proud of.

Through his own personal money struggles and his marriage with Ali, Zack understands how strong the influence of money can be on a man’s sense of responsibility, freedom, and ability to provide for the people and future that matter most. He also learned firsthand that earning a good income doesn’t automatically translate into financial stability. Without the right habits and a clear plan, even financially successful people can feel like they’re falling behind.

That perspective has become central to Zack’s approach to coaching. He is passionate about helping people take ownership of their finances, bring structure to their money, eliminate the uncertainty that comes from not having a plan, and turn their income into meaningful progress. Whether the goal is getting out of debt, building wealth, preparing for the future, or simply feeling more in control, Zack helps clients turn financial goals into practical action.

ali
Ceo & co-founder

Ali is the CEO and Co-Founder of Wellspring Financial. Her journey, both alongside Zack and on her own, has shown her how closely money is connected to the things people value most: security, freedom, family, opportunity, and the ability to build a life on their own terms. She also understands that financial decisions can carry an emotional weight that isn’t always reflected on a spreadsheet.

That perspective has become an important part of Wellspring Financial. Ali is passionate about helping other women and their families develop a stronger relationship with their money—one built on understanding rather than fear, confidence rather than uncertainty, and intentionality rather than simply getting by. She believes financial education should feel approachable, practical, and empowering, regardless of where someone is starting.

As CEO, Ali helps lead the vision, operations, and client experience behind Wellspring Financial. She is committed to creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they work toward greater financial clarity and independence.
